Your tour Guide will meet you in Picton and safely escort you on to the train for a stunning 50 minute scenic excursion.
Meander through the changing landscapes from Picton and the local generation farmlands - the Deer Farm, the Dairy herds, the Welsh ponies and as you come down from the high points of the hills and  arrive with spectacular views of the Wairau Plains and cross our main river the Wairau River. The Marlborough wine region is a massive display of  vineyards of over 25,000 hectares in total being the largest area in New Zealand that produces over 77% of New Zealalnd's wine.

The Blenheim Railway Station is your final stop and your tour guide will be waiting for you to continue out to a beautiful winery garden setting with expansive lawn and trees and ideal for your relaxing picnic.  Glasses of wine from the winery are on offer for you to purchase. The cellar door could be free while we are there for a tasting if you prefer.

Your picnic includes an array  of cheeses, cold meats, pate, herb dips, local cherry tomatoes, local carrot sticks and celery, olives,  - a choice for the vegans too.

Other icon stops are offered such as The Vines Village for a taste of gourmet oils, liqueurs, a quilters barn for the hobbyist, possum merino garments and excellent WIFi.
A scenic journey through the heart of Blenheim is also on offer on your tour.
